2.  Data is stored on RAID 1 server. You access your data VIA mapped drives.

• Group drive. (Faculty, Staff, Students) Only member of each group can see files in the group folder.

• Departmental shared drive. All EVSC domain member can place data in this folder. (Staff, Faculty, Students)

No computer system will be connected to our network if it does not have Antivirus Software and a fire wall running on it. This software is provided to you for free as long as you are a member of UVA. (Faculty, Staff, Students.) For help on meeting these requirement you may contact me.

Our server is set up in a RAID 1 configuration.
